not having a go at farmers or the need to produce food
making a point that agricultures interests are over represented in the Australian political system and that an imbalance exists. Mostly because electorates are not really divided up evenly
there is nothing in my post to suggest that I am confusing cubbie station with the farming community in general
Our land does not support the level of agriculture that we have currently use it for. And far to much government research money is spent on growing the next great tomato or whatever. Need to move on from this because countries are not going to buy our overpriced produce for much longer (wage growth and currency appreciation)
