Fascinating session overnight....CPI print comes in and markets tumble, gold included. Down about 1.3% on release then big intraday swing to end up 1.2%.
Dow/SP down 3%, nasdaq down 3.5%. Diversified miners not spared.
But, have we seen the inflection point for goldies?
Barrick, Newmont, iamgold, yamana, b2gold, kinross, aginco all up between 4-8%.
Some mids performed even better: Novagold, Alamos, Newgold etc...Argonaut up a whopping 13%
Looking forward to Tuesday's open for once.
