Thanks for thinking of me Derosie
I have been smacked down with this Flu Virus going around and it's like nothing I've experienced before. I'm not one that normally gets colds and flu's but this one has got me good! This on the Back of ( pardon the pun ) a recent fall back first onto slippery stairs has shown I'm not as young and invincible .... or smart as I once was. it was unwise to be wearing thongs(flip flops) putting recyclables out in drizzling rain - so yeah .. it was my bad decision that increased the chances of this happening - I think many of us would have experienced the Aussie Ice Skate equivalents - just add water! - normally there is no control whatsoever and didn't take long at all for my feet to be the highest point! Anyway, on the mend apart from this Flu but she'll be right soon. Hope you all take precautions to avoid this particular Flu - it certainly is a nasty one!
Don't think you need me Dorosie to say it's all good - I think most of us long termers here including yourself can see what's happening and Archer has a very bright future ahead. Of course it's early days, but Archer's Management I feel are making all the right actions to ensure this gets to where it needs to be in the years ahead.
The Capital Raise back in October 21 now seems like a genius move by Management - to take advantage of raising money to accelerate development with as little dilution as possible. This along with further advances in Technology development is why I feel the company is in such a strong position now. I know many may disagree with me, but in times like we are in now a strong cash balance and no debt to fund activities in a huge bonus to get through periods like these - if the decision wasn't taken then we wouldn't be accelerating the Technologies with the extra experts we have on board now and likely be going for another CR with way more dilution.
Interest rate rises were always on the cards in the years ahead, but one of the things that worries me is this is not your average growth spurt causing inflation - incredible $ growth in our housing market and especially supply and demand issues due to the Covid Pandemic has caused many of the disruptions and price hikes, on top of other world events and our recent weather events here in Australia have all contributed to price hikes therefore inflation. Our Economy has improved considering the headwinds we've had to endure - but alot of balancing and fine tuning will be required to ensure it doesn't tip the other way.
Traditionally when interest rates increase Tech Stocks do get a hammering and Archer is now in the Tech Stock Domain. Coupled with end of financial year selling pressures it is a bumpy road at the moment and I'll find it hard to see the SP drop much further than where it is now. I do think one has to take into account the value proposition Archer's technology will hold in the years ahead. This is very much a world's first technology development and Archer is leading the way with 12cq and Bio Chip is holding up it's own merits. They are engaged in technology development at the very edge of where we are at now and it's no walk in the park so it will take time to develop and refine these technologies - hence why Archer is very much a Long Term Investment than a Short Term trade.
You can see through LinkedIn the team of Specialists growing at Archer. The once Impossible, they have made possible - 12 cq room temperature and Silicon compatible Qubits ... the rest I feel is just complex Engineering and this will take time and patience. Archers recent announcement on achieving 15 Nanometer progressing to sub 10Nm Fabrication on the Bio Chip is a big deal - the more sensors that fit on the chip - hence more sensitive the chip is and the better for disease and virus detection.
So it's clear they are progressing these Technologies forward and I don't think due to the complexity of what they are doing you'd expect an announcement as often as if they were an exploration company. Nevertheless it's an ASX Listed company and they are required to make announcements when relevant.
Still very much here Derosie and have only added to my position and sold none. The Market will always do it's thing and the company has no real control over how the market prices it's value. As the company advances and achieves more milestones and de-risking the Technologies towards commercialization then the value base will become clearer. It never ceases to amaze me how the SP drifts lower on such low volume and at times barely marketable parcels.....
There's alot being throw at us mere mortals with rate rises, price increases, weather and world event's, Flu's and Viruses so wishing everyone a safe path through these challenging times.
Take care and all the best.
Cheers
Tonza
