blue chip behaviour

Just thought I'd start a new thread. Some have referred to UBS & Pala's rebalancing their holding as a warning sign. Well, to me BLY has emerged from the GFC a very different company. Kengaikl has already covered many times about how the company is stronger and I am sure most posters here agree too. But BLY has changed in another way too which hasn't been mentioned. And that is, the sp no longer fluctuate wildly. It's been rising steadily. To me the steadiness of the sp rise (i.e. no wild swings) is a blue chip behaviour.
