It is a bit of a champagne day...albeit....I'm sure SHV got absolutely squeezed on this contract....a 'fixed service contract'.....what's the deal....at least they can now cut service to the bone just to fulfill contract minimum....and hope for higher almond prices for a kicker

Anyway, the devil will be in the detail....as SHV updates the market next month and perhaps passes the hat round for capital to develop WA.....

All things considered, even if they got squeezed on the contract......this is the best case outcome as it allows the company to stay independent and for its value to fully be realised by market, which I think is presently around $10 a share

I think this company and almonds will become a very strategic food asset in Australia in coming years and I'm looking forward to top of the cycle valuations

Raise your glasses to share price appreciation, even though I think earnings will be down or steading this year and next, even in the face of food cycle returning and the trees continue to mature.
