Kozzie, I suspect you have not been part of management in a ASX listed company.
The CFO/CEO are called on a daily basis by funds asking whats happening with the share price as from the funds perspective they would see their net worth in investment.
If the capex slides down hill funds managers will reduce and maybe even stop their investment in the code and may even trigger a complete sell off.
Naive to think that "she'll be right" and their is gold under rainbows if everyone is patient.
The market are expecting a "big international player" to be announced soon and if it doesnt happen and management are hoping they can pull a rabbit out of the hat a sell-off will occur and I would argue is already happening.
I would be suggesting that an announcement be made to keep the market up to date what is happening.
