Seems to me that this was all about SP stabilisation. It's no secret that WGX have had several operationally average quarterly cash outflows in a row. I commend WB for giving holders some reassurance in a time of widespread panic and waterfall price action, (I wish AMI's DC would do the same.) Sticking it up the large short positions was a nice bonus. At least WB has been opening up more channels of communication with SH. PC spent many years treating WGX SH like mushrooms. Agreed on your last point Spec, there guidance hitting record was hitting joke proportions for a while there.
