I think that we are going to see an epic amount of whinging from the poor me generation about how can they maintain the $5k designer dog, the Netflix/Foxtel/Paramount subscriptions, the 4 x 3 first property purchase at 24 yrs old, the daily chai latte, the SUV that is essential because how else can they be expected to fit in a baby seat and the shopping in a small or medium car, the annul Bali trip, Uber eats twice a week etc etc etc

This is not to say they shouldn't be dirty on the whole thing, because quite frankly we have had 20 odd years of politicians who have pandered to an electorate that has been like a flock of seagulls after chips (handouts) on a beach.
