the market (mainly hedge funds) is expecting the housing slump to be worse than expected, and bad debts to rise, best to sit this out and wait a few months, although I'm expecting a big recovery in bank shares later this year when interest rates top out, the rba will stop as soon as any weakness in the economy shows up
