Not much happening on the class action front. I read the article, and basically it is as the headline suggests.
One interesting thing was that A2 Milk had been pushing for the consolidation and ultimately got what they wanted.
They then tried to claim that, because it had been their proposal all along, that they should be awarded costs up until that point. However the Judge denied this and said they were taking too much credit for the outcome, and that this would probably would have happened anyway. The next case hearing is in August to decide what to do with the NZ participants. Absolutely riveting stuff!
