vast majority of risk transferred....except for the equity piece which takes the first hit. seriously champ......
price is down 30% since news of the deal falling over even though the biz is rock solid. the market has to be wrong????
i'm no short seller. have owned Humm but sold at 90c when deal was announced. M&A is bloody tough and I never wanted to own LFS
New capital may not be required but it's a valid concern for any finance company in a down turn. None of these finance companies wrote business expecting rates to be this high. we are in unchartered territory. you can leave your head in the sand.
