Not enough resources, mined unethically (as far as zero emissions are concerned), can't recycle efficiently, too costly to produce. Obviously cant charge when the sun does shine and wind doesn't blow. Technology just isn’t there for what people are expecting. Would need a truck tonne of batteries to keep everyone’s houses going. On a cold or hot night the battery storage required is unfathomable! Its just not the answer but everyone will learn the hard way
