Been a while since I have checked in with CNB, and its good to see the Nil Desperandum finally being chased down plunge and down dip, as you say, still early stages of drilling and with the drilling is so sparse, there is still room to fit decent tonnages between the very limited drilling. The large carbonate quartz vein with the stylolitic and blebby chalcopyrite in the core photos of hole 94 are very reminiscent of the high-grade Kulthor Vein system mined next door to Osborne, and the red and black hornblende biotite scapolite rocks at the margin of this vein also have appreciable chalcopyrite with them and look like typical Trekelano type ore, so a pretty interesting system of mineralization types at Nil Desperandum starting to appear. Obviously, there is some structural complexity but the other thing is that it appears that the high-grade part of Nil Desperandum seems to be pinching and swelling and quite anastomosing along strike and down plunge so it looks like it might have a somewhat complex geometry, not at all surprising, when you remember the complexity and pinching and swelling of the high-grade zones along the Starra series of deposits (although here they seem to be lacking the massive hematite and magnetite ironstone hosts that Starra has).
Pretty gob-smacking that no-one had ever banged a drill hole into some of the old Mt Hope historical mine workings huh? Another case of the old-timers hitting the water table and fresh sulfides and hard rock and walking away. Do your IP and stick a drill rig on some IP anomalies and old copper workings seems to be the exploration approach that works for them.
Love the comments from people who complain about some lower grade or barren exploration drill holes, they must have obviously been involved in drilling out orebodies that never end, and continue to infinity along strike and down dip to the centre of the earth.....
Horrific few weeks on the market, even OZL got a spanking today, so logic has gone completely out the window, and business fundamentals/geology and metal prices now being ignored.
