Yeah.. could be more or could be less than 1000 onzs. But with high grade ore you find that assaying with a 50g sample that you will only know the grade of the fine uniformly distributed component (the coarse nuggety gold will be missed). That can work two ways.... It's either a bonus on top for shareholders or a bonus for the person on the end of the processing line to skim off.
When you reconcile grades at the end of the operation and grades are slightly below expected AND the plant operater is turning up to work in a Mercedes....
