    Hi All

I'm very comfortable with my investment in ESS and in the general battery sector.

Shame what's happening to the SP and Stocks in general and in the sector -especially when the sector needs every bit of investment $ if we are to meet the demands of what is required for Electrification of our planet and getting off the fossil fuels over the next decade or two.

I tend to focus on the future value of a company rather than SP, speaking of which I see CXO still has a MC of around 2B - I expect ESS to be somewhere close to this at the same stage very close to mining.

    a few points here

    1. Recession fears gripping markets ( defined by at least two quarters of negative growth) isn't going to stop Electrification or the middle/upper class buying electric cars, remembering battery storage has also reported to be an even bigger market than EVs. but where is all the Li going to come from?

    2. Commodities are a great area to invest in times of high inflation.

    3. Not sure why Oz hard rock sell off - you would think its one of the safest bets on the markets with solid growth potential, one thing for sure when reversal happens its going to move up fast.!

    4. Second half of year - sentiment should change as we see majors, PLS AKE and IGO reporting quarter after quarter record/super profits by EOY as they collect the diverging spot/contract price $US 5-7K for Spod, money will then start to flow back big time into the sector and will all be lifted by the rising tide.

    6. By EOY, ESS will have a very attractive Scoping Study and will proceed with a DFS next year, With an Increased Resource we then looking to confirm a reserve and at some stage with the DFS , MOU, Offtake, mining license etc. All Juicy announcements to come when the times right.

    7. I hope not, however, If ESS is being packaged for a TO- the completion of the deep diamond drilling and SS, may be a natural time to present for a premium offer, otherwise management have stated 'we aspire to be like CXO' have to keep tick those boxes to develop and eventually mine ND.

Great Buying opportunity if you are looking to enter the Market and have conviction.
Two strategies for buying on a down trend because no one will tell you when bottom is in and who can pick it anyhow?

    1. Buy Tranches of shares regularly when you feel there is value, you will average at a low price and even pick up a few parcels at or close to the Bottom or
    2. Wait until reversal is evident and buy, you may buy at a higher average price, however don't have the angst of seeing it going lower after buying.

Either way when we have a MC close to CXO it wont matter much what strategy you had, the important part is that you did buy.

For LT holders -many have seen many stocks with upward trend over the years have these 50% fib? retracements - certainly this type of retracement is not unusual and sorts out the people with conviction about their stock. Is it big money just manipulating the markets to gain more of a good thing?

The Battery minerals sector is one that will bounce back strong, we just have to stay patient.
    Good luck all
