Lads,

I don’t want to dump on another explorer hopeful’s prospects but I need to clarify a few things with respect to KGD’s announcement and your respective comparison’s to CR9 and it’s Tampu deposit.

CR9’s Tampu deposit is Australia’s highest quality, lowest impurity kaolin deposit.

With kaolin the least amount of impurities the better, fractions of a % matter greatly and ultimately determine the use case for the deposit and the $$ you can expect per tonne.

Here is a comparison assay sample of CR9:

Check out 0.19% Fe2O3 and Brightness of 90.8, this is what good looks like.

There is a direct correlation between impurIties and brightness.

Here is CR9’s MRE:




Again, check out the 0.5% Fe2O3 and the 52.9% yield.

The deposit has 4m of cover and is approx. 11m thick and contains 24.7Mt for Product tonnes of 13.1Mt…but this represents only 0.15% of CR9’s landholding…0.15 of 1%, they have only drill 0.15%.

I am all for comparisons however you haven’t represented the two fairly and there is no comparison between these two kaolin deposits which reflect positively on KGD’s resource.
