Onz calculation is industry standard 31.1g to A troy onz. So when you see the gold price quoted by the mint as $2636 that's for a troy onz of about 31.1g or $85/g. You could well be right in that translation. (I'd check the weight if I bought gold from them) But anyway it's obvious they quote grams because it looks (wow!!...millions) more.
