not long before the announcement re Santos buying in some months back - a number of million plus sell orders appeared in the stack out of nowhere - and gave an impression of sellers outweighing buyers - of course the shareprice then shot up from 80-odd cents to 1.16...

some of you guys might remember it - they just all went on all of a sudden at levels that were never going to get hit on the day...

I reckon it's something similar - creating an impression that isn't really there. Once it gets moving, watch them get removed.
