Hi xxxx,
I hope this email finds you well.
We have received and reviewed your ACAT forms and unfortunately have rejected it. This is because:
·Per provided DRS statement, you hold restricted stock. We cannot facilitate the transfer of the restricted stock. You will have to liaise with their transfer agent to remove restrictions before we are able to move stocks into their account. Once removed, you will have to submit an updated statement showing their new unrestricted balance.
·Under Step 3, you must not tick any boxes under Account Transfer
·Under Step 7, you have digitally signed the form. You must sign with a pen to paper signature and re-submit the ACAT form for processing.
If you have any further questions, please reply to this email, or for immediate assistance, call us on 1300 361 170 (24 hours a day on US markettrading days) or from outside Australia on +612 91151531.
Kind Regards,

Above is the email that i received from CommSec last year when was trying to do the transfer (from VStock Transfer to CommSec International) in advance and obviously was rejected due to GMVD being restricted (for one year) hence stopped action. Now it seems about time to do it again. From the above email it doesn't look complicated? just said was restricted (and need the restrictions to be removed). I will contact them again by the end of this month too and see if there is any change regarding the transfer. Any updates from other SHers regarding the transfer are really welcomed/appreciated. It always 'feels' much convenient/easier and secure when shares are in here (in my case it's CommSec International) instead of in US, regardless of selling (soon) or not after the restrictions being removed. Cheers
