Thats a disturbing video. ASIC sits on the sidelines and allows this to happen day in and day out. They are obviously aware of the practice but dont want to openly acknowledge it or intervene. So, my take from this is dont invest in listed shares because you are going to get fleeced. If you extropolate that, dont invest in PIQ because it is a prime target for algorithmic trading. May as well sell every share l have today and put my money in a tin in a hole in the back yard. This is the kind of story 4 Corners love to run. Given the practice is so rampant and all the big banks (Commsec) et al use algorithms every day, my bet is nothing is done because too much money is at stake and they have all the power.This would explain the massive price fall in PIQ on smallish volumes. We are doomed or am l over reacting?
