Bashing Morrison over Aged care was all for political convenience.
Aged care work is progressing exactly at the same rate and to the same timelines laid out in the royal commission aged care final report.
My recollection is Albanese only ever accepted one recommendation more from the report than the Libs, lifting qualified nurse hours and this was to happen after minimum care hours were lifted.
The Libs never really rejected the notion of min qualified nurse hours, it seems they only chose to not commit to its funding given its longer lead time, expense, the complexity of, and the questionable nature of being able provide the qualified workforce.
Albo being harassed to hurry up on aged care is poetic justice and exposes Labors and the ABC willingness to play politics with aged care.
