I was reading about Japan's lost decade as it was a little before my time, that is some scary stuff that we seem to be at the beginning of here in Oz.
I know a few people that have their fixed rates expiring soon and have mortgaged to the hilt (and pulled equity out to buy a Merc or the new Range Rover), when I questioned them they'd quote the RBA not moving rates til 2024, lol. Its going to be a painful few years I think
