Buyback is a buyback whatever the scale. Atleast you can be rest assured that the company is not going to dilute the existing shareholders. What would you rather invest in? Company who gives rosy pictures and keep on doing cap raises or somebody with a stronger balance sheet with a buyback? The great Peter Lynch said always look out for opportunities in companies doing buybacks . There may be a bit of a short squeeze now in my opinion only
