the Kiwis had to reopen their borders eventually.... they did better than Aus at keeping their borders secure from covid. so now the worst of covid has passed the NZ Govt did what Aus did and accepted they need to support their industry/economy (mostly vape, dairy and sheep exports hahaha) and allow tourism again.
besides this, Dutton was banging on the door with a host of crims that had lived in Aus since they were born....
