From the news this morning: "Russia will be out of pocket by “tens of billions of dollars” thanks to a tough new ban on Russian gold by G7 nations." I wonder if this will affect the price of gold. You would think it will make gold price go up in the short term because it decreases the availability of gold. Will Russian mines close down or stockpile? How will this play out?
