"LOL ..Anti-Americanism at its finest through your post.. Clinton did a real good job of stopping Bin Laden and neither Clinton or Barack did or have yet faced a situation like President Bush had to with 9/11."

-- Yeah, so based on that attack justifies him to invade a country? So he goes and fabricates evidence to invade Iraq which further alienates the US from the rest of the world with his "axis of evil" simply because he doesn't like their regimes? At the time Iraq hadn't done anything wrong and was minding its own business, yet Bush fabricates evidence to give him an excuse to remove Saddam from power.

"As for IRAN, you can go back and pick out mistakes made, but what country in history has no mistakes of the past by either its own means or of a foreign power ? And lets not forget that unless we the WEST had not been buying the oil, then most people of the Middle East would still be getting around by camel, living in mud huts with no running water.
The past doesn't change the fact that the current regime in Iran has to be stopped gaining nuclear capability."

-- No country is perfect and you're missing the point. Your ignorance is also amusing. Iran doesn't need the west to buy it's oil, you're ignorant to think that the west is the most important customer. Ever think about domestic consumption, or perhaps selling it to other non-western customers? Oh wait, it wouldn't be fair not to sell it to the west who need to import their oil since their own supplies are far outweighed by demand!
-- Even now with the sanctions imposed by the west, Iran is doing just fine.
    - Iran has had refrigeration, air conditioning and running water for a LONG TIME.

-- Only the nomadic tribes would be using camels and living in mud huts.

"The Iranain movement needs a leader, but it probably won't get one, because he will will simply & quickly be hanged as an enemy of God."

-- Well that's a given, given the current regime's actions to keep its power.

"The best way for the regime to hold onto power is the same card that the Chinese communist party will have to play if forced into a corner and that is binding the country together through a war with evil godless America who are attacking our peaceful country, the regimes will use Nationalism to focus the attention of the people, like the communist party in China still use the past opium wars againist the British as an example of what the evil west will do if the party doesn't protect China."

-- I've already stated that the government is holding on by cracking down on anything anti-government.
-- Godless America? Bullshit, read the pledge of allegiance and then tell me that again.

"Also America was 100% correct to use the atomic bomb, and use many more until the Japanese surrended, and it kept the vast land hungry Soviet armies from pushing west and starting WW111 from 1945 along with security for Australia."

-- 100% correct to use the atomic bomb, give me a break. Was nothing more than a show of excessive force and started a nuclear arms race.

"Whatever you say Sconosciuto, does not change the fact that Iran has been developing long range missles capable of carrying nuclear warheads (and showing them of to the world), Iran has been stock piling weapons grade uranium and doesn't change the fact that a storm of gathering that if it breaks will change the world as we know it."

-- Well of course we all know that, they keep playing these bits of news when it comes to Iran:

    1. Development of long range missiles which, if they were to be used would most likely be aimed at Israel. It's no secret that the regime doesn't like Israel, and there hasn't been much apart from more rhetoric from both sides. However, the call to "wipe israel off the map" was completely misinterpreted and all attention to that statement without regard to the rest of his speech.

    http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/print.asp?ID=5866

-- Yet, the US wants to install anti-missile batteries in Poland to defend against this "threat" which is clearly not aimed at Europe in the first place, and Russia has been quick to point this out.

    2. Nuclear program. Even Israel doesn't want this and have openly said that they would launch pre-emptive strikes to destroy any facilities. Ever realise that they have growing electricity needs and they believe that nuclear power is the best way to address them? No, we don't like the regime and believe that they're evil so they're not allowed to proceed. Before the revolution, they had a nuclear program. Yet, they have no problems with India and Pakistan having nuclear weapons and they haven't signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Hooray for double standards.

    3. Protests against the government. Oh, this will be about the only thing we won't condemn since they're trying to bring about change.

-- Pakistan is a much greater threat than Iran. They already HAVE the weapons, and is far less stable than Iran. But they're not going to touch that, since there's no financial incentive to go there.

"Are you serious with that statement?"

-- Of course I am. Did you not see the video in my previous reply? Have a look again:

-- Anyway, the US has done more to destabilise the world recently. Doesn't take much if you look around and see what is really happening, rather than letting the media tell you how to feel.

"Look at tiananmen square as to what the communists will do if pushed slightly just by a bunch of Uni students, wait till its country wide strikes in China and see what happens. What about my previous post referring to Australia's big neighbour Indonesia INVADING our closest neighbour East Timor, and are you going to say that INDONESIA can be trusted ???"

-- Ugh, THE EVIL COMMUNISTS ARE TEH EVIL!!1!!1 Yeah, because other countries don't have the same values and interests as us, that must make them evil. Let China sort her problems out. If another country is invaded, usually there is some sort of action taken out. But what about when one particular region decides to declare independence? Where do you draw the line? No country should be trusted, they all have their own agendas and you're never going to please everyone.

-- For the record, I'm against the whole Global Warming crap. I knew about it in grade school far before it became popular. But then began to realise that we've been keeping records for so long, yet the earth has existed for much MUCH longer and what we are currently experiencing could be part of one of earth's big climate cycles or whatever. The only thing I agree with is being more sustainable living and reducing pollution due to our consumerist and disposable lifestyles.

-- Keep digging... I'm not going to bother replying to any more of your posts because I'm wasting too much time crafting even this response.
