Yeah, I'm not convinced by that explanation either. Seems like these people bought a ton of shares and lent them heavily to shorters. If you borrow, you dont own these shares. Therefor, you cant be a holder (let alone substantial one).
Again, if anyone can actually back that up, who knows what he's talking about, I would sure love to hear it!
