Today was looking good on open, like a strong reversal was finally at play - We were at 7.4c then bam, the EVN announcement with slightly lower future guidance hitting the gold market hard. A big overeaction with what EVN actually said, 22% down. Stinks of a big manipulation from shorters and a wider attack on the gold market. Makes sense, desperate times with the Fed and their puppet funds wanting to create a negative environment for precious metals. Even though there is a high aud gold price! Makes little sense but that is the only obvious reason for all these attacks on asx goldies.
