re: the difference between australia and america Finding oil or gas in the US is important because they can't get enough of the stuff....doing the shopping in Hummers! However Australia is an energy exporter, so domestic finds are ho hum becuse we have got the huge NW Shelf if times get tough. Unfortunately Mosaic is a stand example of what happens to companies that find gas. Oil finds are so rare that people have usually lost interest in between discoveries. Our home success rates are at the low end of the scale; always surprises me that money can still be raised.
