It is confirmed by David B that they have made a submission around 4-5 weeks ago. It sounded more conditional on stock availability, as per the CEO's comments:
“We stand by to assist the US Government, FDA and our trade partners to help parents and caregivers access high-quality a2 Platinum infant milk formula from New Zealand during this difficult period subject to our stock availability,” he said.
The temporary relaxation of import restrictions is lasts until November this year. I seem to recall around the time of the initial BUB approval, there were around 26 other applications that had been made by foreign companies. Not sure where that was mentioned in hindsight, though.
