@picastoc - sleet is 'icy slush' - plenty of that in my native town of Vienna - in the winter and in between seasons - which btw. has made it as the most livable city - all I can remember are slush-covered streets in winter and if you didn't wear those rubber overboots, your feet got cold and wet. - It's lovely in spring and summer though . . . and people wear more practical clothes I agree with you on the 'good news' thing - but some people just love to moan, don't they?!!
