Not just landlords trying to take advantage of bad situations.
Farmers, fuel stations and supermarkets, ALL RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.
We can discuss this for a week, and be no further ahead.
Let's look at 2 quick examples of why costs have gone up.
1. Lettuce. Farmer normally sells 1,000,000 of them at $1 each, (or less),
but because of floods, (or drought or fires) he only has 100,000
to sell, so bumps the price up to $10 each. Still makes the same $$$$
2. Rentals. More renters than rentals, no ADDED cost to landlord,
but GREED inspires them to bleed more $$$$ off those that can least afford it.
