    Hi all

    Wanting to grab some advice around the core ICE patent.
    when a patent says its ceased on this patent search on IP Australia and my understanding confirmed by text below from IP Australia website

    Ceased/ExpiredWhere a patent has ceased or expired it is no longer in force. It is not the case that the patent does not subsist, as the patentee has the right to bring an action for infringements that occurred while the patent was in force.

    What does this mean moving forward or is it normal and patent is still in force?
