Not much has changed as a patent was inevitable. As a holder it's a nice little kick up but the product needs to be proven successful in the real world. I have had consultations with numerous sports physicians for arthritis in my knees - I was considered a good candidate and it didn't do a thing for me 5 months ago. Pentosan has been around for many years and there's a good reason the major pharmas haven't pursued with it. Having said that I'm happy to ride it out with a small parcel. Hopefully it can help some people in some form...disappointed that wasn't the case for me after getting my hopes up
