Yep it's called wealth redistribution, only the "wealthy" pay enough tax to make a difference, except that the Labor/Greens coalition define wealthy as anyone from lower middle Australia up, so if you earn $80k a year you're "wealthy" ... while in the real world someone on $80k a year is just getting by with some degree of comfort.
The real cost of renewable energy is so high no one from the climate change brigade will talk about it and the renewable shills just outright lie about it. We don't have the topography to install anywhere near enough pumped hydro(which is uber expensive anyway) and batteries are nothing more than grid stability devices, they aren't true grid scale storage(outside of the renewable shills lies).
We're in for some very hard lessons in this country, viva la revolution when it finally comes for the woketards
