Usually the desk is silent so is a chair - unless of course someone is actually sitting in the chair near a desk and the someone decides to speak - then one becomes a speaker - no??
And meanwhile the share price has been silently bludgeoned and we wait for it to speak up after the heavy blows. Lots of bruises and scars.
