craigcooperrrr Today was a huge day for me professionally, but more importantly, it was massively impactful for me and my partners and employees personally. We finalized and lodged our FDA clearance submission for the @conneqthealth "Pulse", a "world first" OTA customizable monitor that allows physicians, patients, and consumers to track advanced arterial health parameters previously only available to specialized clinicians (cardiologists/nephrologists), research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies.
Finally, at home and in your primary care clinic, consumers and patients will now be able to track their risk for multiple diseases beyond just hypertension and cardiovascular disease - including Alzheimer’s and dementia risk as well as kidney disease (CKD), preeclampsia, and stroke risk.
We’ve been the “gold standard” in measuring “central aortic waveforms”, arterial stiffness, and arterial pulse pressures for nearly 20 years. Extremely specialized and significant medical diagnostics.
When @niallcairns and I took over ASX-listed CardieX and ATCOR Medical nearly 4 years ago and then recently founded Conneqt Health, our mission was to bring that same legacy technology to the public and drive mass adoption of a new paradigm in diagnosing and treating arterial disease – and create a new standard of care for patients.
That was our mission. And it was personal to me. My father-in-law died of Alzheimer's. And if you've read my book (#YourNewPrime) you would know that on top of nearly losing my left leg at 11 due to osteomyelitis, being in a coma for a month at 9 with encephalitis, I also had heart surgery at 18 - so there's a reason I'm so obsessed with my own health.
