There's nothing ethical about trading. Let's be realistic. There are weapons developers making an absolute killing right now - pardon the pun - in the midst of a new cold war. As Sadhguru says, there are about 68 or so companies around the world that make bullets for AK-47s. The addresses of all of them are known, but nobody is going to shut them down so people can't shoot at each other. All the mining companies have banned foam coffee cups to protect the environment, but take a look at the how they blow the crap out of the ground and the size of the holes they've dug in the earth, and the oils they poor down them... Yet, there probably isn't a single person among us without a mining stock of some sort, either directly or indirectly through our Super. I'm more than happy to call out the shortcomings of HCT, but I give to charity if I want to be ethical. I invest to make money - or at least try to - granted things don't always go as planned.
