I'd think that if I cut and pasted random text out of context from emails stolen from any computer in the world, I could build also a conspiracy argument. Not too many people would be gullible enough to believe it, though there are always some who delight in trying to destroy the reputations of good people.
If the first few pages are anything to go by, the authors are clutching at straws.
There is no evidence of impropriety and I'd be very surprised if any emerged.
Unfortunately the thieves have not yet been identified (at least not publicly). I hope the police are able to find and prosecute the criminals, if not those who are attempting to destroy the reputations of those who will, in future years, be recognised for their contribution to saving humankind (or trying to).
