The guy is 62 years old and he is giving effectively 18months notice. I would say 18months notice is a very decent time to enable a decent transition period.
lol people can look for reasons 'why not' to buy a share. That's the easy part of investing. The skill in investing is balance the 'why' vs 'why not' and the impact these questions have on the future value, and then only and only then look at the share price.
