Interesting that the current loan has been agreed to be extended and that Fred is providing additional funding.
Going by previous history they would normally convert their funding to shares.
Either:
- they are in a black out period for director share purchases pending a significant announcement or
- they do not wish to purchase further equity in the company.
I find the latter less likely as it would be a deterrent for the pending cap raising.
I wonder also whether a cornerstone shareholder is coming in - just the language and heads up around the cap raise and the temporary funding all is a bit out of character.
