Sleep Apnea is a very serious condition which, because it can cause you to stop breathing for several seconds many times a night, often results in waking up with a dry mouth, a headache and feeling unrefreshed and sleepy often with mood changes during the day. If untreated it can lead to have serious heart problems, diabetes, dementia and much more. ( Google for the full list of possible health effects). While Sleep Apnea is usually associated with older people it can happen at any age.
Sleep Apnea has largely gone undiagnosed partly because people don’t like to admit they could have such an unsexy condition which is associated with old people wearing a CPAP mask, and partly because to check it out required a costly and time consuming visit to a Sleep Clinic, to be hooked up with several monitors to then be read by the doctor for a diagnosis. What an effort! No longer. Sleep Check can be downloaded on your phone and after one night’s sleep diagnose if you have no Sleep Apnea midst your snores, or if your Sleep Apnea is mild or serious. Then it’s up to you to get further advise and take action. Sleep Check will be for many a life changing invention.
Several posters as Hoofa, Rorbag and Fred P are knocking the App obviously without any understanding of Sleep Apnea and what Sleep Check actually does. Not surprisingly these posters are not owners of RAP Shares. Why do they bother I ask?
