I believe that OM Sarawak is mostly targeting the USA market, just waiting to see the June USA import figures. The price spread is far greater in the USA vs EU, plus its also closer for shipping vs India who seem to be targeting Europe and Turkey.
The USA has also started sanctions against Russia who were always the major supplier of FeSi to the USA.
I believe that OMH is extremely mindfull about undercutting and disrupting markets.
Now might be a good time to start the furnace refurbishment as this will take some more alloys out of the market.
