I'm sure MQG is actively talking to RBS to switch exclusive talks following Obama's plan to separate Prop. Trading from Retail Banks.
RBS are desperate to offload this asset before the interim results.
I'm giving MQG a 1/3 chance of convincing RBS - this was 0% following the announcement that JP Morgan would be entering exclusive talks.
Hopefully MQG can negotiate a drastically reduced price.
