WASHINGTON—Pat Cipollone, Donald Trump’s former White House counsel, will testify under oath Friday behind closed doors to the House select committee investigatingthe Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with the agreement.
The committee issued a subpoena to Mr. Cipollone late last month, setting July 6 as the date for him to appear for a deposition.
