From a recent article, only 25% of class 1 Ni is now traded through the LME because of the Big Short by the chairman of Tsingshan. That means that most contract prices are set outside of LME and therefore not published due to Commercial in Confidence contract clauses.
So what IS the real price of class 1 Ni today and tomorrow?
Except for those writing contracts, no one knows?
But IMO, unlikely to be lower than the poorly managed LME.
