I have not completed a detailed analysis, however understanding the current cost per metre for helicopter supported exploration drilling on Siren Gold's Reefton Tenements indicates that surface drilling soon becomes cost prohibitive at depth. Accuracy is also compromised with long holes, which is not good when targeting high grade, narrow vein systems in faulted ground at depth.
