When Newcrest inevitably pays for the additional 5% of Havieron, their 25% of current resource estimate is 1.62Moz gold eq. Whereas AZY'S 100% attributable gold totals 3.8Moz gold eq, with 2.6Moz gold eq at Minyari Dome alone.

Also, Shaun Day wants to throw around the monster figure of 20Moz gold potentially at Havieron, which I'm not disputing. But it's taken 4 years of drilling to get to the current resource of 5Moz or 6.5Moz gold eq. He's hinted that it will take several years of drilling to get Havieron's final resource. If going by the current rate to resource definition drill Havieron, which is going below +1.5km, it will definitely take several years, more like between 8-12 years. And if they do get to 20Moz, GGP'S 25% share is only 5Moz gold.

Where on the contrary, it only took AZY 12-18 months drilling to increase the resource at Minyari Dome by 250%. So there's a big likelihood, that AZY will be able to increase their total overall 100% resource to 5Moz gold eq from 3.8Moz, and still at a very decent grade.
