There is the combustion aspect which doesn't appear to be a big problem. The bigger problem is the inefficiency of backing up intermittent power with batteries and needing further gas or coal backup. . The eyesore of a landscape covered in windmills and massive areas covered in solar panels. Surely a power station covering a few acres makes more sense. All this will be excacerbated by the massive grid requirements to charge EV's. It's just not going to happen with wind and solar. IMO of course.
