Calling money a fiat experiment is no more than being political rebellious and trying to devalue government control over currency. This foolish idea that money is worthless falls over if the commodity you are buying is valued in USD. The bit coin fanatics say the same thing yet bitcoin is valued in USD. surprise......
Conspiracy theories based on fringe ideology have no place in economics.
We are in high inflation now for three reasons.
1. low interest rates
2. Supply chain interruption.
3. High government stimulus.
The dollar has been floated for years and survived very well. Markets are behaving perfectly.
